Cyber team receive merchandising items

The work of the Cybercrime Unit in raising awareness of its related issues has been boosted with the new merchandising sets given by the Australian Federal Police and Cyber Safety Pasifika this week.

Cyber Crime officers will be distributing banners, bags, wrist bands, and other stationeries while creating awareness on issues relating to cybercrime.

Director Narcotics Senior Superintendent of Police Serupepeli Neiko while receiving assistance from Acting Superintendent Christopher Burgess of AFP's Transnational Crime Unit commended both the AFP and Cyber Safety Pasifika for supporting the Unit on time.

"It's great to have these timely merchandising sets as it will boost ways of creating awareness to the public and make them understand the importance of knowing Cybercrime threats and its related issues.

Act Superintendent Burgess highlighted the importance of the Unit and a small part from their end is just to complement the work that Cybercrime officers have been and will be doing as far as Cyber Crime awareness is concerned.
