Two men for charged aggravated robbery that went viral on social media

Totogo Police have arrested and charged two people in relation to an aggravated robbery case at Butt Street in Suva, that was captured on dashcam video and widely circulated on social media.

The incident occurred on the night of the15th of June 2025, and through the support of social media users and from CCTV footage shared by business entities, the victim was identified and an official report lodged on the 20th of June 2025.

From information gathered, Totogo Crime officers, arrested two suspects a 22-year old man and a 27-year old woman, whereby they were jointly charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

The two will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today.

Investigations continue in relation to the others involved in the incident.
