The Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu has directed investigations on the assault video from Lautoka circulating on social media. Mr Tudravu said that what the Officer did was not right.

“We admit that what the Policeman did was not supposed to be done. I have directed Internal Affairs to investigate the issue.

They have visited the scene and recorded the necessary statements,” said Mr Tudravu.

The Commissioner of Police said that he will wait for the findings of the investigations before making a decision on the matter.
