Vinaka vakalevu Australian Federal Police for the consistent support to the Fiji Police Force.

The Fiji Police Forensic Sciences Services are the recipient of yet another AFP supported initiative, this time under the Pacific Community for Law Enforcement Cooperation (PCLEC) grant, whereby new computers were handed over last week by AFP Senior Officer (Suva) Detective Superintendent Grant Liddy.

Receiving the computers was the Director Forensics Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Margaret Marshall, who thanked the AFP for recognising the important role forensic plays in investigations, with the new computers to assist in improving the quality of photographic evidence.

SSP Marshall conveyed the Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu’s appreciation to the AFP for supporting the Fiji Police Forensic Services work in Fiji and the region, as it endeavours to assist regional law enforcement partners through the Pacific Policing Initiative (PPI) in the delivery of specialist policing training and operational support.
