opening of the constable qualifying course cohort 2

Fiji Police Force Academy Commadant Acting Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Epeli Rikaiwai today officiated the second Constable Qualifying Course (CQC) for this year.

A total of 112 participants from around the country are part of this four-weeks training.

The participants graduated three years ago from the Fiji Police Academy, and the CQC is the first opportunity they will have to go through, in order to be eligible for internal promotional courses.

A/SSP Rikaiwai welcomed the participants and reminded them that the four weeks of training will be a refresher course for them.

“You are doing the work, and at times, if you haven’t been sure of what you were doing, this will be a good time to ask and clear your doubts,” said SSP Rikaiwai.

The Commadant has urged participants to refresh themselves with knowledge and to ensure that they make that impact to their communities when they return.

The CQC concludes on 05th September, 2025.
