Volleyball team departs for palau


Fiji Police officers representing the Fiji Volleyball Men's and Women's sides presented their i-tatau to the Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu this morning.

Led by Fiji Beach Volleyball Team Manager Corporal Jale Raguru, the delegation consisted of the members of the Fiji Women's Volleyball side with the likes of Police Constables Vunise Mateiwai, Daiana Waqavakatoga and Sainimere Sema who will be traveling to Palau for the Pacific Mini Games.

Also present were Police Constables Simione Sivo, Nacanieli Rabuku and Wame Salabogi, traveling to New Zealand for another tournament representing Fiji.

The Commissioner of Police in his parting words reminded the officers to maintain discipline while representing the nation in any field whether it be sports or any other call to national duty.

Commissioner Tudravu wished the Police representatives well, urging the officers to fly both the Fiji and Fiji Police Force flags proudly at all times, and display good sportsmanship expected of a member of a disciplined force both on and off the courts.
