The Nadi Weather Officer is forecasting cloud and showers to affect the Eastern parts of the group and from midnight tonight - occasional showers with possible heavy falls over eastern and interior of Viti Levu and elsewhere, cloudy periods with isolated afternoon or evening showers.

We do request drivers to be mindful of the slippery road conditions as we continue to record motor vehicle accidents on a daily basis.

This also applies to road users all over the country even though some Divisions are experiencing fine weather this morning.

Drivers are also requested to be vigilant and alert when nearing school zones, particularly after school when students are returning home.
