Alleged Drowning

A search continues along the Vuda Point River this morning for the two brothers who both failed to surface yesterday.

Both victims were playing with their friends when the incident occurred and it is alleged that the 18-year-old was trying to get the ball from the water and when he struggled to surface, the 17-year-old came for his assistance where both of them are believed to have drowned.

Meanwhile, Police are advising parents and guardians to take a close watch on their children during this week-long holiday, and please monitor their whereabouts to avoid such circumstances.
