Special father's day Morning Tea

Women officers and civilian members of the Fiji Police Force Headquarters Division today hosted their male comrades to a Fathers Day morning tea as most will be deployed on operations over the long weekend period.

The Fiji Police Women’s National Coordinator SSP Bereta Naisua said the morning tea was a small token of appreciation to the efforts put in by their male comrades in the demanding work of policing.

Speaking on behalf of the Acting Commissioner of Police was the Deputy Commissioner of Police Itendra Nair who acknowledged the kind gesture shown towards the male officers.

“Our work family is our family away from home and just like any family we support each other”.

“It is important for us to maintain the veilomani spirit in working side by side in taking this institution forward and we cherish our comradeship and support each other through the many ups and downs that we may encounter”.

Young male officers were invited to cut the special Father's Day cake as the senior Command looked on.
