Accident in Sovi Sigatoka

Forty students are being treated at the Sigatoka Hospital after the bus they were traveling in was involved in an early morning accident in Sigatoka.

The accident occurred near Sovi, Sigatoka whereby the driver allegedly lost control of the bus causing it to veer onto the opposite lane and hit an oncoming truck.

The students and both drivers are being treated at the Sigatoka Hospital as investigations continue.

The students who are members of a Sunday school group from Keiyasi were traveling with some parents on a one day excursion to Suva.
