MEET Corporal Jone Rabuka originally from Dreketi village, Wailevu, Cakaudrove with maternal links to Suweni village, Koroalau, Cakaudrove.

This past week Cpl Rabuka had the honour of driving the official vehicle conveying Her Royal Highness (HRH) Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth of Denmark during her visit to the Northern Division.

With 13-years of service under his belt, Cpl Rabuka has conducted Police escort vehicle duties for VIPs in the past, but says this experience was different as it was a first driving for a member of the royal family.

Cpl Rabuka who has served in the Uniform Branch (UB), Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Northern Division Highway and is currently with the WATERPOL Northern Division Unit has described the opportunity as an unforgettable experience.

“I'd like to encourage Police officers and especially young ones to be loyal and dedicated to their work, even when nobody sees you.

I believe one day God will reward you even with something you've never dreamt of or achieved.
