Lead by Example

Congratulations to all Northen Police participants that had attended the week long Station Sergeant (S/Sgt) and Station Officers (SO) workshop. S/Os and S/Sgts are the two officers that is responsible for the everyday running of any Police Station.

The workshop which took place at the Northern Division Training Room in Labasa was facilitated by Assistant Superintendentof Police (ASP) Roneel and Inspector of Police (IP) Gyan Singh from the Fiji Police Academy, Nasova.

The Deputy Divisional Police Commander Northern, Superintendent of Police (SP) Eroni Soqosoqo officially closed the one week workshop on Friday.

SP Eroni reminded the participants that he expects to see changes taking place from their respective stations.

Participants were also reminded to lead by example as young officers are looking up to them.

The workshop were mainly on the roles and responsibilities of Station Officers and Station Sergeants.

This includes general duties such as looking after the team, keeping and maintaining of Records and registry, Managing of Persons in custody, Crime Trend Survey and many more.
