Opening of Intel Workshop

The Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong officially opened the Intelligence Workshop this morning at the Fiji Police Academy.

The Acting Commissioner thanked the participants for their support towards the organization.

“This course and like many others conducted here at the Academy, is aimed at enhancing the knowledge of your work. Intelligence is an important cornerstone of policing,” said the Acting Commissioner.

He stressed that Intelligence dictates and drives Police operations whether it be at the strategic national or operational levels.

“This is our opportunity to prove that we are worth this uniform. The opportunity to restore confidence and the opportunity to do right by the policing profession.”

The two weeks course consists 20 Police Officers from around the country and for the first time ever, two Officers from the Samoa Police Force.

The course officially ends on the 28th April, 2023.
