Varoka Community Police conduct School Awareness

The safety and well-being of Fiji's future leaders is important and the best way to empower them and keep them safe is through education.

Community Policing aims to achieve this through school visitations and community based work with various schools.

This past week officers based at the Varoka Community Police Post did just that by speaking to students of Shree Sanatan Dharm Kanya Pathshala about various topics which included road safety, drugs, drowning prevention, bullying and general disciplinary issues.

The officers also donated stationery to the school management, following which they helped with a general clean-up around the school compound.
