Officers conduct Country Patrol

Community policing is a critical element of proactive policing, as police officers reach out to their respective communities to adopt a sense of ownership for their safety amd security as police cannot be everywhere.

One such way of achieving that is through country patrols. Yesterday, team Tavua Police conducted their country patrols visiting their farming communities and areas known for cattle theft.

The officers walked approximately a distance of 10km from Davota to Malele visiting and advising farmers of safety and security measures.
