Police Security ensured at Zone meet

A meeting was held today with Police officers from the Totogo Police Station and Muanikau Police Post ahead of the Zone meet tomorrow whereby the Principal of Suva Grammar School Mr Chandra Segran reinforced his school’s commitment in assisting Police ensure an incident free tournament.

The meeting was held at the school as a proactive measure in light of the concerns on the behavior of students in general prior to, during and after major sporting tournaments.

Police were also informed of a meeting held between the Head Prefects of major schools in the Suva area to avoid an incident that occurred yesterday afternoon at the Suva Bus Stand.

Police will set up checks along the Muanikau stretch and parents and guardians are requested to remind their children on the need to behave when traveling to and from the ANZ National Stadium.
