MPAISA SCAM

Never give out your MPAISA Pin numbers.

This is the advice from the Fiji Police’s Cybercrime Division, following reports of scams where people have lost money after releasing their MPAISA Pin numbers after they were told they had won money in a lottery.

Members of the public are being reminded that mobile service providers will never ask for your PIN number over the phone.

Never engage with anyone texting you that you've won a lottery and that you need to release your PIN details.
