Amadiyya Primary School Prefects Induction

Congratulations to Penioni Benjamin Kuinikoro and Makereta Turagasila for being badged the Head Boy and Head Girl of Amadiyya Muslim Primary School by the Western Division Police Commander (DPC/W) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tomasi Bulimaibau yesterday.

Officiating at the school’s Prefects Induction Ceremony this morning, SSP Bulimaibau congratulated all elected Prefects and reminded them of the importance of being fair and honest leaders.

In addressing all students, he said, “I urge you while you’re still young – enjoy your childhood. Being an adult is not easy, it’s hard work and even harder when you don’t use the opportunity to educate yourself now so that you can have a successful and prosperous future”.

The head of the Western Policing Division also called on parents, guardians and teachers to support each other's role in the education of a child. "

The education of our children is a shared responsibility, we all have a part to play".
