Meet k9 Rae

Meet K9 Rae who yesterday assisted in the arrest of a 30-year old man for an alleged case of livestock theft in Navua.

K9 Rae and her handler were deployed to Navua to assist with a report of the theft of ducks from a farm in Navua.

At around 9am, K9 Rae began to follow the scent of the alleged suspect right up to his home.

The suspect was arrested where he revealed that there were two others involved in the alleged theft.

The suspect is in Police custody as investigations continue.

K9-Rae is enjoying a well deserved rest at the K9 Unit in Nasese this morning for a job well done.
