WPC LITIA BOLA – COMMANDANTS BOOK PRIZE


Meet Woman Police Constable 7725 Litia Bola originally from Viseisei in Vuda with maternal links to Nadaro Vugalei in Tailevu.

WPC Bola was the recipient of the Commandant's Book Prize during the Passing out Parade of the Basic Recruit Course Batch 62 at the Nasova Police Ground today.

The Commandant’s Book Prize is given to the most improved recruit constable who had shown gradual improvements from the beginning of the Basic Recruit Course towards the end of the training.

The 22-year old is the youngest in a family of two and was raised by her mother up until 2019 when she was called to rest.

She graduated with a Certificate in Counselling from the University of the South Pacific and has nearly completed her Diploma Courses in a similar field.

WPC Bola who is a former student of Adi Cakobau School in Sawani dedicated her award to her late mother and also to her aunt and uncle [ Mr and Mrs Vuluma] of Lomolomo Vuda for their support.

The Vuda lass is also a member of YOBA International focusses on community engagement and charity work.

She said her passion in the field of charity work remains and will continue as far as policing work is concerned.

WPC Bola said she always puts God first in everything she does and is advising the youth of today not to forget the teachings from home.
