As reiterated by the Permanent Secretary of Health Dr James Fong, we must all continue to practice COVID safe measures.

This message however is not being taken seriously by some as reflected in the number of Public Health Infringement Notices issued over the last 48-hour period.

The Southern Division recorded the highest number of bookings with 119 cases.

Both the Central and Eastern Divisions recorded 14 reports, West 11 cases and officers from the Police Special Response Unit recorded 3 bookings.

The Southern Division recorded 21 reports and the Central Division 5.

There were 6 PHINs issued for breach of curfew, 2 PSV drivers were booked for failing to comply with the passenger capacity regulation and one PHIN issued for breach of isolation in the Eastern Division.
