Public Health Infringement Notice

Fifty people were served Public Health Infringement Notices (PHIN) for various Health breaches in the Western, Eastern, Southern and Central Divisions throughout the week.

Forty-one notices were issued for failure to wear a mask and nine for social gatherings.

Fifteen Infringement Notices for failing to wear a mask were issued in the Eastern Division, South 18, Central 6 and West 2.

Nine Public Health Infringement Notices were issued for social gathering with 5 issued in the West and four in the Central Division.

As we head in the weekend, Fijians are reminded of the need to comply to the restrictions as officers will be moving around issuing on the spot fines for non compliance.
