Acting Commissioner visit officers in isolation

The Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu and senior officers visited police officers and civilian staff of the organization undergoing isolation along the Suva and Nausori corridor this morning.

The visit included officers that were under isolation away from their homes and those who have spent weeks away from their home due to their work bubble.

“We are all eagerly looking forward to having everyone return to work but for now our immediate concern and priority is to ensure those affected get the adequate support they need as they are undergoing the mandatory isolation period as per the Ministry of Health Guidelines".

For the families of the officers that were stuck in their work bubble, the Acting Commissioner acknowledged their support as the pandemic has resulted in officers having to move away from home to live with members of their work bubbles for the sake of ensuring services are not disrupted.
