Covid 19 Vaccine dose

The Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu leads the organization in receiving his first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine this morning followed by other members of the Command Group and officers from within the Central, Eastern, and Southern Division.

The Acting Commissioner has encouraged members of the organization including Civilians to get registered and receive their AstraZeneca Vaccine.

He said this is an important step towards protecting the officers from a plague that has claimed millions of lives around the globe.

"Nothing to worry about and all officers need to receive their dose considering the calling that we have.

We are front liners and the need for us to receive this vaccine is vital".

More than 4000 members of the Force are expected to get the vaccine this week excluding officers based in the Northern Division and the maritime areas which they will receive theirs afterward.
