More successful raids in kadavu


Two successful raids conducted this past week in Kadavu resulted in the discovery of more than 2900 plants believe to be marijuana.

Chief of Operations Assistant Commissioner of Police Abdul Khan appreciated the assistance rendered by the members of the public in providing information which resulted in the successful raids.

“Our war on drugs will continue and we thank the general public for coming on board to provide information”.

The first farm was located between Gasele and Daku village on Wednesday 20/01/21 where officers uprooted more than 1800 plants and also found several sachets of dried leaves wrapped in aluminum foil in a shed.

The second raid was conducted within the Nacomoto area today whereby officers uprooted more than 1000 plants believed to be marijuana.
