Police will closely monitor the movement of people to the various popular picnic spots around the country during this festive season.

Chief Operations Officer Assistant Commissioner of Police Abdul Khan said high movement of people are expected and the Force wants to ensure that safety measures are followed at all times.

“It is part of the organization’s duties in ensuring that members of the public continue to be safe as they enjoy themselves during this festive period,” ACP Khan is urging the public to ensure their homes are secured before they go out and to also inform the nearest community post.

And for motorists please be advised that the Police Force maintains zero tolerance in traffic offenses.
