Alcohol continues to be linked to the breach of curfew arrests as the majority of those arrested over the last 48-hours were found drunk.

A total of twenty cases were recorded in that period. From 11 pm Saturday to 4-am Sunday, the Central Division recorded six cases including five men in their 20's and 30's found drunk and loitering along the Toorak area.

A 31-year-old man was arrested for loitering along the Flagstaff area in Suva.

The Southern Division recorded five cases whereby two men in their 20's were found walking along the Sukanaivalu Rd in Nabua while three other men were found drunk in the Serua area.

The Western Division recorded four cases including a 21-year-old man and a 33-year-old man who were both found drunk and loitering in the Sigatoka area.

The other two cases involving two men in their 40's and 50's who were arrested as they were found traveling without a valid reason.

The only five cases recorded for curfew breaches  in the last 24-hours were five men who all are farmers and were arrested as they were drunk and loitering in the Davuilevu area.
