Proper Operational Plan for Divisional Traffic Officers

Director Traffic Senior Superintendent of Police Mahesh Mishra had a meeting this morning with all the Divisional Traffic Officers in an effort to draw up a proper Operational Plan for the festive season.

Prevent road fatalities on our road is something vital to the organization therefore the need to map out strategies with this regard is important.

More than 15 divisional traffic officers gathered in Suva today to plan their strategies and reduce road accidents.

Director Traffic SSP Mahesh Mishra said 65 deaths were recorded last year compared to 55 deaths this year.

People losing lives on our roads is a big concern and the public should work together with police to solve this problem.
