49 year old man charged with one count of murder

Investigators had charged and produced a 49-year old man ?in court earlier this week for alleged?ly ?causing the death of a 31-year old man in Raiwaqa last year.

The victim ?who was found lying motionless along a lane in Raiwaqa in November 2024, had succumbed to injuries allegedly sustained as result of the offence committed by the accused.

The accused was ?formally charged with one count of murder and produced at the Suva Magistrates Court on Monday 7th April 2025?.

?He was remanded and his case transferred to the Suva High Court to be called again on the 17th of April 2025.
