Four men were arrested for burglary

Four men were arrested for their alleged involvement in a burglary case in Lakena yesterday afternoon.

The four are alleged to have forcefully entered a home, where the owner was also operating a small canteen and stole cash and assorted items.

A team from the Eastern Division was formed and pursued leads, whereby a raid was conducted at a Suva motel early this morning.

The four suspects were arrested and the alleged stolen items recovered.

Also discovered were alleged break-in equipment and tools.

The four remain in custody as investigations continue.
