Six people charged for drugs

Six people will be produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court today charged with the alleged unlawful possession of illicit drugs, namely methamphetamine.

The six were arrested by a team from the Serious Organised Crime and Intelligence Department (SOCID) on the 27th of July 2025, during a raid in Waqadra in Nadi.

The six aged between 34 to 45 are from Nadi and Lautoka. Seized during the raid were several clear plastics containing crystal like substances, which tested positive for methamphetamine.

All six have been charged with Unlawful Possession of Illicit Drugs and will be produced in court today, Wednesday 30th July 2025.
