Child Expert Interview Refresher Workshop

Police officers based in the Northern Division recently underwent a Child Expert Interview Refresher Workshop conducted by Specialist Child Interview trainers from New Zealand.

The refresher training was facilitated through the Fiji Police Partnership Programme (FPPP) supported by New Zealand High Commission, Suva, Fiji enhancing interviewing techniques for officers based at the Sexual Offences and Juvenile Units.

The refresher workshop was conducted by Specialist Child Interview trainers Ms Erin Gooden and Marama Pocock, as well as FPPP NZ Police Senior Advisors Drew Bennett and Mary Jane Riddle.
