Commissioner of Police commended the efforts of officers based in the Northern Division

The Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu commended the efforts of officers based in the Northern Division (ND).

During his operational tour, the Commissioner met with the Divisional Police Commander North (DPC/N) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kemueli Baledrokadroka and the ND command group at their Headquarters at Namuka House on Friday the 14th of March 2025.

Commissioner Tudravu emphasised the importance of working together towards the shared intent of improving service delivery across all facets of policing.

He assured the Northern Command group of the Headquarters division’s support in addressing challenges faced in serving remote areas.

“I thank you DPC and your command group for the operations on the ground. We must always strive for better, and as leaders we are the very ones to drive and motivate those under our command to meet the expectations of the communities we serve”.

“I assure you all that I am trying my best to provide you the necessary support, and I thank all men under your command for their commitment, as I know it’s not easy serving in remote areas.”

The Commissioner of Police was briefed on the operations achievements for the first two month period, whereby drugs has seen an increase in reports, largely due to increased tempo of operations.
