Director for Pacific Centre for Peacebuilding courtesy visit to Commissioner

The Director for Pacific Centre for Peacebuilding Ms Florence Swamy paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu at the Police Headquarters yesterday.

Discussions held were on the ongoing programs facilitated through the FPF Community Policing under the Memorandum of Understanding signed in April 2024 where the two organisations are engaging in a multi-tiered program of “Repairing and Restoring Justice” caused by crime through the principles of Restorative Justice.

The FPF and PCP have worked closely since 2010, engaging in the conduct of workshops and shared learnings.

Commissioner Tudravu acknowledged the support of the PCP adding he looked forward to furthering collaboration efforts between the two institutions.
