Police Caravan

Police Constables Sairusi Nalevea and Kalivati Tuitoga manning the Police Caravan in Labasa today at its new temporary location outside Savilla House.

The Divisional Police Commander North, Acting Senior Superintendent of Police Kemueli Baledrokadroka said the Caravan has been deployed to cover two densely populated areas in Labasa namely in Bulileka and Vunivau.

A/SSP Baledrokadroka said as part of the Caravan operations, the officers also conducted visitations to schools, house to house and places of worship where they have been warmly welcomed.

The Divisional Police Commander North said while no reports have been lodged at the two locations, members of the communities have still visited the caravan with refreshments and to meet the Police officers.

A/SSP Baledrokadroka said the Caravan concept is achieving its intent of brining services closer to their communities while also strengthening police - community relations.
