SD WOMEN'S INTER-FORMATION

The Southern Division Women’s Inter-formation tournament was opened today by the Assistant Commissioner of Police Internal Affairs and Professional Standards, Sakeo Ganivatu acknowledging the role of women in the policing profession.

ACP Ganivatu said since the tournament began in 2014, it had grown from being the preparation grounds for the annual Ratu Sukuna netball and volleyball tournaments against their sisters from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, but a tournament for networking and exposure of raw talents where women police officers have gone on to represent Fiji.

Top honours for the Volleyball tournament went to Southern Division Headquarters while the Netball title went to the Samabula District.
