Drivers to take precautions

Drivers are urged to take necessary precautions in light of the current weather we’re facing.

Yesterday two serious accident cases were recorded, and we are again cautioning drivers to be careful.

Along Howell Road, a vehicle driven by a 25-year-old man crashed into a power post resulting in power outage in the area.

He sustained injuries as a result of the accident and is currently admitted in the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

In Colo-i-Suva a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old man veered off the Princess Road and landed down a slope.

Both the suspect and a 19-year-old woman who was a passenger in the vehicle were treated at the Nausori Health Centre.
