CQC Closing

145 Police Officers yesterday graduated from their Constable Qualifying Course (CQC).

Closing the course was the Director of Forensic Science Services, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Margaret Marshall who said that during her time, the same course was known as the Probation Course.

"Back then, we were told that our names were written in pencil and upon the completion of the course, our names will then be written in pen signifying and confirming our place in the Fiji Police Force, " said SSP Marshall.

The participants are officers who had marched in for recruitment in 2019 and 2020 and were under probation.

She said policing should be taken seriously at all times and encouraged the young officers to give their very best while serving members of their communities.

The participants were reminded that they represent the Fiji Police Force and their families, and any misconduct or ill discipline resulting in disciplinary action will bring disrepute to the two institutions.
