Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Isireli Ravulolo Ligairi has been selected to attend the 47th International Senior Police Officer’s Command Course (47th ISPOCC) at the Royal Malaysia College in Kuala Lumpur.
ASP Ligairi currently holds the post of Deputy Divisional Police Commander Central and has served for 17-years in various capacities in the Southern and Northern Divisions, Police Academy and Headquarters.
The Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew whilst speaking to ASP Ligairi prior to his departure stressed the need to capitalize on the educational opportunity provided as it would assist his professional development.
The Acting Commissioner who is also an alumni of the Royal Malaysia College having attended the same course in 2012 wished ASP Ligairi the very best for his studies.
The Fiji Police Force also acknowledges the support of ASEANAPOL through training and education opportunities provided to the organization.
The FPF holds observer status, and opportunities such as the ISPOCC training is an extension of the partnerships forged between ASEANAPOL member countries and observer nations.
The 47th ISPOCC will be held from the 7th – 25th of August at the Royal Malaysia Police College in Kuala Lumpur, Cheras Selangor, Malaysia.
