Drowning

A foreign national allegedly drowned whilst swimming in Mamanuca waters yesterday.

The 23-year-old victim was with friends at a popular recreation facility when the incident occurred.

The staff tried to revive the victim and rushed him to the Nadi Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Investigations continue.
