A 16-year-old student was allegedly found in possession of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
The matter was reported at the Rakiraki Police Station after his teacher discovered the dried leaves hidden inside a highlighter.
In a raid conducted by the Labasa taskforce in Vunivau, several small clear bags containing dried leaves believed to be marijuana were seized from the home of a man reported to be selling the illicit substance.
Investigations continue. We continue to urge parents and guardians to talk to their children about the consequences of illicit drug and substance abuse on their young lives and future.
