Investigations continue. The national road death toll currently stands at 48 compared to 15 for the same period last year.
We continue to urge drivers and pedestrians to be safe and alert whilst on our roads.
Road accidents and fatalities continue to rise because drivers and pedestrians are not taking ownership of their behaviour and continue to disregard road safety messages issued by authorities.
There needs to be a change of behaviour and mindset towards road safety, in that it’s not just the responsibility of Police or other stakeholders to keep you safe, but more so on each individual.
