Police Women Rugby Team Skipper

Special Constable (WSC) Akosita Ravato wants to be the first to lift the FMF Foods Limited Sukuna Women's Service Rugby Trophy tomorrow.

WSC Ravato who hails from Vuaki Village in Yasawa is based at the Southern Division Command and Coordination Center.

2022 marks the first time Women's Rugby is being played in the annual tournament, an even more memorable occasion for the young officer after being chosen to lead the Police team.

WSC Ravato is no stranger to the sport having played as a loose forward in the Fijiana XV side that won against Samoa 31-24 to scoop the Oceania Rugby Women’s Championship in July this year.

She is calling on all #88blues fans to turn up in numbers and support the team as they try to win the first ever Service Women’s Rugby Sukuna Trophy.
