Melrose Cup Winners visit HQ

It was a great start of the morning as members of the Fiji Police Force based at Headquarters met the four members of the organization who were part of the winning World Cup 7s team.

The Commissioner of Police Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho welcomed Police Constables Waisea Nacuqu, Joseva Talacolo, Filipe Sauturaga and Special Constable Jeremaia Mata as they paid a courtesy call to the head of the organisation and presented the prestigious Melrose Cup.

The Commissioner said the organisation was proud to have been represented in the winning World Cup team.

Speaking on behalf of the four officers, PC Talacolo said, “We thank the Commissioner and our comrades for their support and prayers”.
