Corporal Charmaine Wagambie in Fiji for a training program

Woman Corporal Charmaine Wagambie from the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary is in Fiji for a one month training program to observe the work done by Fiji Police Sexual Offense Unit and Prosecution.

The people to people exchange program was made possible through an initiative of the Pacific Islands Chiefs of Police.

Acting Senior Superintended of Police Vilisi Waqavesi welcomed their PNG comrade to the Fiji Police Force Headquarters on behalf of the Acting Commissioner of Police Biu Matavou.

W/CPL Wagambie will be based at the Sexual Offense Unit for two weeks and the remainder of her one month study tour will be spent with the Prosecutions Department.
