FPF Commend Support

Thank you all for cooperating with stakeholders and Police in making the 2022 Coca-Cola Games an incident free event.

The Chief Operations Officer Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Abdul Khan said with the support of the 2022 Coca-cola organising Committee, school heads, teachers, parents and stakeholders, the 3 day event has been declared incident free in as far as safety and security matters were concerned.

ACP Khan says there were nil major incidents at the Games venue over the three days, and with thousands of people turning up every day, safety and security was well maintained, largely due to the support of the general public.

He said, “Our focus was to make sure all the hard work, sacrifices and resources that went into preparing participating students, were not marred by any incident that would have impacted their ability to take part, or for the organisers to conduct the athletics meet”.

ACP Khan said, “There was a lot of excitement building up to this week, understandably knowing that the Games had been put off for two years.

All officers deployed had one mission in mind and that was to ensure students were able to enjoy the three day event and that was well achieved, and we thank everyone for their cooperation and support".
