Policing through Sports

Community Policing through sports is an avenue of engaging and empowering partnerships between Police and the community.

This morning the Deputy Commissioner Itendra Nair was the Chief Guest at the Suva Muslim Sports Association Eid Cup 2022 5 a-side Futsal Championship at the National Gymnasium.

DCP Nair used the opportunity to address the youth present on issues of concern affecting Fiji's young generation including drugs and the hidden dangers of social media.

The Fiji Police is always appreciative of any and all opportunities provided to strengthen partnerships and sports is indeed a powerful unifying tool.
