A new Partnership was forged today between the Fiji Police Force and Axellerate Sports Apparel in their campaign of Standing up against Crime.
In recognition of this new partnership, Axellerate Sports today handed over Rugby Jerseys to the Suva Police Rugby Team with the Theme “Stand Up and Say No to Crime” printed on it.
The Suva Police Rugby Team will utilize this partnership Jersey to compete in this year’s Suva Rugby Club Competition.
Axellerate Director, Mr Josh Matau said the handing over of Rugby Jerseys to the team was their token of appreciation towards the good work done by the Fiji Police Force.
“The value of what is given today is nothing compared to the great work you have been doing. I hope you will wear it proudly.
You will be a walking billboard where ever you are playing and hopefully people will have the courage to Stand Up and Say No to Crime every time they see you play.”
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Itendra Nair said this kind gesture will assist Police in its Community Policing engagement.
“We exist to serve the Community at large, you basically have provided us a tool to be able to go out there and do our best.
The organization continues to support sports as one of the pillars of our community engagement.”
DCP Nair wished the Police Rugby team well in their preparations for this year’s Suva Rugby Club Competition.
