DCP Nair visit Sacrilege scene

The Baulevu community have been assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted to determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged case of sacrilege at the Nav Durga Mandir.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Itendra Nair this morning visited the scene and was briefed by the Chief of Intelligence and Investigations Assistant Commissioner of Police Sami Surend, Divisional Police Commander East Senior Superintendent of Police Koro Lesikimaloku and the Eastern Divisional Crime Officer Assistant Superintendent of Police Antonio Apole on the progress of the investigation.

After being briefed on its progress, DCP Nair provided guidance to the team.
