SSP Abdul Khan and Acting SP present their I-tatau to Acting Commissioner of Police


Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Abdul Khan and Acting Superintendent of Police (SP) Ilaitia Caginavanua presented their I-tatau to the Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu this past week as they prepare to leave for a year to pursue further studies in Australia.

SSP Khan and SP Caginavanua were selected amongst 14 awardees under the Australian Awards Scholarship to undergo further studies at two well-known Universities in Australia for 18 months.

SSP Khan will attend the Macquarie University in Sydney pursuing a Masters in Security and Strategic Studies while ASP Caginavanua will attend Curtin Unversity in Perth for Masters in International Relations and National Security.

Acting Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu in accepting their I Tatau wished the two well in their studies and encouraged to remember that in the face of difficulties lies opportunities.

‘I don’t have any doubt that you can do well and members of the organization will expect results from you as aspiring leaders of the Fiji Police Force'

SSP Khan previously held the post of Director Operations while SP Caginavanua is the current Deputy Director for International Relations.
